20 years have passed since the death of William Afton, killed by the springlocks of the animatronic Spri... ngbonnie. Puppet, Foxy, Bonnie, Freddy and Chica now live with Fredbear and the ghost with him, Cassidy, at Fredbear's Family Diner, after the latter found them in a terrible state shortly after the death of their killer.
That's when they discover terrible news: Freddy Fazbear's Entertainment will soon reopen its doors, despite the terrible events that took place there. The animatronics are outraged by this decision, but do not realize to what extent this event will turn everything upside down.
Because, for 20 years now a being has been waiting to be able to come out of the place in which he was condemned.
William Afton is still "alive". Half dead, half alive he haunts Springbonnie's costume. But what everyone doesn't know is that Springbonnie's consciousness is also there, fighting tirelessly to maintain control of his body.
